Jennifer Trouton
Jennifer Trouton is an award-winning figurative painter who deliberately uses the tools and materials of the past to subtly express ideas around gender, class and identity within Irish history; combining an interest in the mythological, the historical and personal narrative with meticulous technique.
Born 1971 in Co. Armagh Jennifer Trouton is currently based in QSS Studios East Belfast and is a member of the Royal Ulster Academy. Since graduating from the University of Ulster in the mid-nineties her work has been extensively exhibited both locally and Internationally.
